Stories from Pictures

One day I was walking around the Penn State University Park campus taking pictures  of plants. I took the picture below with my 300mm lens from far away. I like this picture because it captures a moment that amuses me.

The woman in the green jacket was walking down the path with a dog. At times the dog would spot a squirrel, smell something, or hear something and suddenly be riveted. It was a lazy summer Saturday afternoon, so there was time to be curious. When the dog stopped the humans stopped too.

This picture captures a moment when the dog has slammed on the brakes, causing the woman holding the leash to perform an awkward evasive straddle to avoid a collision.

May life always be interesting, and may no one step on your tail when you pause to savor it.
