Today I wrapped up the final requirements for my Ph.D. All the signatures have been collected, forms filed, surveys completed, documents uploaded, and fees paid. The email from The Graduate School arrived a few minutes ago notifying me that the final draft of my dissertation has been approved. Seeing the message made me smile: “Everything is in order, and you need do nothing further for our office.”
The monkey is now off my back and frolicking in the trees near my apartment.
