This evening my friend Ryan was in town, so a group of us met up at Otto’s for dinner. It was the fourth time I’ve been to Otto’s, but the first time I’ve ever eaten there. The other three times it was so full the group I was with changed plans.
I had a smoked brisket sandwich and a pint of Apricot Wheat Ale. The sandwich was great, the ale was a bit fruity but good. I was impressed by Otto’s; I now have a fuller understanding why it is normally so crowded.
After dinner some of us adjourned to Jared’s place to play Settlers of Catan. I decided to watch the game (while watching the Phillies Mets game in the background).
Catan, friends, cookies, and baseball = Good things.
And yes, I do believe that is a poster of a hurricane on the wall. You see these things when you visit a meteorologist’s lair.
